Why our first automatic watch had to be this one

At Macklein, we never wanted our first automatic watch to be just another model. It had to carry meaning, history, and a real connection to the brand and to all of you.

That is why we decided to reinterpret a design that already existed and that played a key role in our early days.

This model is very special to us. It was one of the watches through which many people first began to recognize Macklein, and it even appeared in productions from Netflix and Movistar+. A design that, without intention, became part of our identity.

It was also a defining piece at the beginning of the brand. In its original version, only 20 units were produced, quartz powered and without a date, at a time when Macklein was just starting out. It was a small project, driven by enthusiasm and the desire to do things properly from the very beginning.

Over time, this model became one of the most loved by our community. And when the moment came to take the step towards an automatic movement, the decision was clear. For our first automatic watch to truly be special, it had to be this one.

Today, that same design comes back to life, staying true to its essence while incorporating an automatic movement for the very first time. This is not just a technical evolution, it is a tribute to our beginnings and to everyone who has supported the brand from day one.

This is Macklein’s first automatic watch.
And it could not have been any other.
